NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

This is a Sole Source synopsis published for informational purposes only. This proposed action is for the procurement of the Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor P/N R37ie-A-125 230/460V Rotary Screw Air Compressor with Poro, Modulation and High Dust Inlet Filter for Tinker AFB, OK. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This proposed procurement will be Sole Source under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 333912. Size standard is 500 employees. The proposed source Air Systems Pump Solutions (ASPS) 3200 S. Ann Arbor, Oklahoma City, OK 73179. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, quotation or exception to the intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government if received within two (2) days of this notice. In order to comply with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the reason for lack of competition is as follows: This is the only air compressor that meets the needs and requirements of the new paint booth and air sanders at Tinker AFB, OK. ASPS is the only authorized sales and service supplier in the state of Oklahoma for Ingersoll Rand products. Contractors must be registered in System for Award (SAM) at www.sam.gov.
