The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source contract to OTC Markets Group, Inc. OTC Markets Group, Inc. provides online access to OTCQuote.com, which provides real-time and historical trading and market data from the over-the-counter (OTC) market, FINRA OTC Bulletin Board electronic quotation systems, bid and ask prices for OTC corporate bonds and fixed income securities from the Yellow Sheets quotation system. OTC Markets Group, Inc is the only known vendor capable of providing the data that is required by the Commission. The period of performance for this purchase order is one year, effective June 1, 2011. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The SEC intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation.
