Full Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The United States Air Force (USAF) intends to award a sole-source contract with four option years to Presagis USA Inc. The USAF requires (1) each - Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) PRESAGIS Virtual Avionics Prototyping System (VAPS) QCG Floating Software (Version 2.2) and 1-year term software maintenance coverage to 402nd Software Engineering Group (SWEG) at Robins AFB, GA, in accordance with the attached Product Description dated 22 April 2021. The agency's minimum needs can only be satisfied by the unique capabilities available from Presagis USA, Inc. Presagis USA, Inc., the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the VAPS QCG software, does not authorize any resellers for the "VAPS QCG Floating (version 2.2)". Seeking an alternate software source would delay the program development cycle due to required modifications. The alternative would risk the opportunity for software vulnerabilities and the OFP team modifying the source code which increases test cycle turnaround time, extends development time, and mismanagement of resources. Award to an alternate source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the Government's requirements. An approximation of the cost to the Government would be increased up to $100K for maintenance costs. The VAPS QCG Floating (version 2.2) software is proprietary software of the PRESAGIS company. As an integral component of the OEM's SMDP OFP Software Development Environment (SDE), the VAPS QCG version 2.2 software is required to replicate the SMDP OFP build. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE.
