Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC), in conjunction with the National Conservation Resource Service (NRCS), National Soil Survey Center intends to award a sole source purchase order to Rigaku Americas Inc. for a A00012256 Supermini200 High Powered Benchtop Wavelength-Dispersive X-ray fluorescence Spectrometer and accessories. Requirements: See attachment for requirement details. The proposed contract action is for commercial items for which the Government intends to solicit in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 13.5, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) for this acquisition is: 334511 Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes, however, if any other interested party believes that it can provide the required products, it may submit a statement of capabilities. Capability statements must display sufficient detail and evidence to determine if the party has the ability to provide the required products. The statement of capabilities must be furnished in writing and emailed to eugene.jackson2@usda.gov and lindsey.brantt@usda.gov by October 04, 2024, at 10:00 AM Eastern Time (ET). The government will not pay for information received in response to this announcement.
