Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source-ServiceNow Licenses and Support

This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.4, Federal Supply Schedules and FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) - soliciting from a single source. This requirement is for ServiceNow Licenses and Support. The applicable NAICS Code is 511210- Software Publishers. The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) at Camp Pendleton, CA, intends to award a sole source contract to Carahsoft Technology Corp., 11493 Sunset Hills Rd, Reston, VA 20190. Per Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 208.7402, departments and agencies shall fulfill requirements for commercial software and related services, such as software maintenance, in accordance with the DoD Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI). As such, DoD ESI is the mandatory source for software and software maintenance agreements. MCTSSA intends to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred by responding to this notice.
