AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, plans to extend its contract with Reasor Building Group, LLC, to maintain the lease of a modular facility at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. This extension is necessary due to delays in construction efforts related to Hurricane Michael recovery. The original contract, awarded through the Small Business Administration's 8(a) Business Development Program, ensures that current tenants remain undisturbed and prevents interruptions to crucial military construction projects supported by this facility. The government will provide written justification and obtain appropriate approvals for this extension, prioritizing the continuity of services. While the notice indicates the intent to extend without seeking competitive proposals, interested parties are welcome to express their interest and present their capabilities by the deadline of 2:00 p.m. CDT on April 2, 2025. Submissions should detail business size, ability to perform necessary work, layers of subcontracting, and other relevant qualifications. These statements, limited to three pages, must be sent via email to Ms. Sophia M. Chin, as no mail or fax responses will be considered. The evaluation process will focus on demonstrated capabilities to fulfill the specific requirements promptly and cost-effectively.

Full Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District (CESAM) intends to extend contract no. W9127820C0024 to continue the lease of a modular facility at Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, due to construction delays as part of the Hurricane Michael recovery effort. The contractor is Reasor Building Group, LLC, 17 West Maxwell Street, Pensacola, FL 32501. The contract was awarded competitively under the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development (BD) Program. The Government will support the proposed action by written justification and obtain appropriate approval prior to proceeding.

Should your firm desire to submit a capability statement, it should demonstrate the Offeror’s experience and expertise to provide the services identified above within the time frame required and without substantial duplication of cost to the Government.
