Full Description

This is a notice of the Government intent to issue a sole source modification to extend contract N6817116C6000 by six months. This contract is for Air Terminal Ground Handling Services and is currentlybeing performed by Louis Berger Aircraft Services, Inc. A follow-on contract for these services, N6817122C6000, was competitively awarded on 23 November 2021to the incumbent, LBAS. This includes a 1 year base period, four 1 year options, and one 6 month option.However, an unsuccessful offeror filed a post-award bid protest with the Government Accountability Office,against award of contract N6817122C6000. This required a stay in the new award until the GAO protest is resolved. As such, the current contract is being extended to maintain critical support for the Department of DefenseAirlift System and allow sufficient time for the bid protest to be resolved.
