Full Description

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to modify the existing contract with Continental Insurance Company to continue to provide a source of Worker's Compensation Insurance as required by the Longshoreman's and Harbor Workers Compensation Act (commonly called the Defense Base Act (DBA) for an additional eight months until May 30, 2009. The existing contract with Continental Insurance Company is a no-dollar contract and the extension will provide the Government sufficient time to competitively award a new contract for DBA rates. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. No telephone/fax inquiries shall be accepted. Inquires shall only be accepted in writing by e-mail.
