Full Description

This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price FFP contract using FAR Part 12 and Part 13 procedures. This requirement is to provide Marine Corps the required auditing and accreditation from the American Corrections Association (ACA) for USMC brigs in Camp Lejeune, NC, and Okinawa Japan. SECNAVINST 1640.9D & SECNAV M-1640.ldirect Navy and Marine Corps Corrections programs to adhere to the national accreditation standards issued by the ACA. Specifically, the USMC requires Adult Correctional Institutions (ACI) and Core Jail (Cl) audits and accreditation. The Government intends to Award on a Sole Source basis to: THE AMERICAN CORRECTIONAL ASSOCIATION (ACA) 206 N WASHINGTON ST STE 200 ALEXANDRIA VA 22314-2528, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. All interested and/or responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
