The Office of the Senior Procurement Official (OSPE) intends to award a sole source contract under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) - Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available to: American Medical Association, Inc. 515 N. State Street, Chicago, Illinois, 60610. This requirement is for online subscription services to the AMA guides, sixth edition for up to fifty (50) federal users. This guide is proprietary information provided solely by the American Medical Association (AMA) and as such, they are the only source that can provide the required subscription services. This action will result in a fixed price contract. The period of performance will commence on or about September 26, 2022. The NAICS code for this requirement is 511210- Periodical Publishers with a size standard of $38.5 million. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals.
