The Unites States Naval Hospital Okinawa (USNHO) has a requirement for preventive maintenance services for the onsite Abbott PRISM nEXT system. The Abbott PRISM nEXT is an automated immunoassay analyzer designed to perform chemiluminescent immunoassay (ChLIA) technology. The Abbott PRISM nEXT performs batch/continuous access and STAT processing of specimens containing both large and small molecular weight analytes. The system is a fully automated, high-volume blood donor screening analyzer designed to enhance the safety of the blood supply. The Prism instrument consolidates blood donor testing into a single system, reducing errors and tampering by automating the manual testing procedures and steps currently used to screen blood.
