NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD NAME BRAND PART


Anchor NBX Box (BEP Part MAP 5651)
The Treasury Common Services Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on behalf of the Office of Supply Chain Management (OSCM). The purchase order will precure two-hundred (200), Anchor, Horizontal, For NBX Box, ZEISER P/N AFD7, KBA P/N 1002406890 for various press machines at the Western Currency Facility (WCF). The anchor NBX Box is proprietary and can only be acquired from either Zeiser Inc. or Koenig & Bauer (K&B) Banknote Solutions. Therefore, the Government intends to award a contract to Zeiser or K&B in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(c).


This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information, or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
