This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to H3D, Inc. (CAGE: 6BW68) of 812 Avis Dr. Ann Arbor, MI 48108. This requirement is for one T410 gamma ray detector device, MFG: H3D Inc. The Government intends to negotiate solely with H3D, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing and the business size standard is 600 employees.
