This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to BNC Corp (CAGE: 23908) of 2955 Kerner Boulevard, Suite D, San Rafael, California 94901-5553. This requirement is for the following: ITEM 0001- Cesium Bromide (CeBr3) Scintillation Detector MFR: Scionix Holland P/N: 51B51/2M-CEBR-LB-X2 QTY: 5 Each The Government intends to negotiate solely with BNC Corp under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 334517 and the business size standard is 1,000 employees. Please be advised the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding.
