NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR FOR: Preventative Maintenance & Repair Services of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Systems This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(a)(1)(ii): sole source (including brand name) licensing agreements. The US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop, 3rd Floor, Room C3-311; has a requirement to procure the following product and service: Combat Capabilities Development Command-Chemical Biological Center (CCDC-CBC) requires on-site Preventative Maintenance & Repair Services of Mass Spectrometry Systems to provide yearly full-service preventative maintenance support, unlimited on-site repairs, software upgrades, on-line technical support, and telephone assistance to resolve technical problems. This is a non-personal services contract to provide routine preventive maintenance and as-needed repair. The intended period of performance for the above mentioned service is for a base year plus two (2) one (1) year options subject to date of award. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Bruker BioSpin Coroporation, 15 Fortune Dr, Billerica, Massachusetts 01821-3923, United States. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the Business Size Standard is $22M. All responses received within seven (7) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed requirement will be based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
