The Government intends to solicit and award a sole source Purchase Order for a Counterbalance (CB) Forklift Simulator to integrate with the existing system, under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. The Reference Number is FA441826Q0072.

The 628th Contracting Squadron (628 CONS) located at 101 E. Hill Blvd, Joint Base Charleston (JB CHS), SC intends to award a Purchase Order to SIMFORMOTION LLC. The CB Forklift Simulator provides prisoners with uninterrupted, high-demand vocational training while maintaining maximum security within the facility. This simulator eliminates interruption of training when mechanical issues or inclement weather occurs, and includes an integrated OSHA safety course.
