The intent of this notice is to solicit and award a sole source Firm Fixed-Price contract pursuant to authority granted under 41 U.S.C 3304(a)(1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit and award a sole source Firm Fixed-Price contract for the purchase, installation, and training for Gaven Industries Double Air Seal HEMP Protected Doors/Interlock System for Interior Personal Vestible Doors; Gaven Industries Inc., 6655 N Noah Dr., Saxonburg, PA 16056-9719. This procurement shall be made under North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) Code: 334419 Other Electronic Component Manufacturing. The size standard is 750 EMP This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP). This requirement involves purchase of Gaven Double Air Seal Doors and interlock system which allows entry into the HEMP protected facility during HEMP Events. A Field Service Engineer will travel to/from the site and shall be be responsible for the following: 1. Perform shield effectiveness test. 2. Remove current doors. 3. Installation of the Gaven doors and interlock device. 4. Perform shield effectiveness test to ensure HEMP protection not compromised. 5. Provide training for site personnel. The place of performance will be USSTRATCOM, located at 900 SAC BLVD STE N3.126 Offutt Air Force Base, NE 68113 - 6020.
