Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source being available to meet the Government's needs, to: Hologic (MA), LLC 250 Campus Drive Marlborough, MA, 01752-3020 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 325413; the business size standard is 1250 employees. The objective of this sole source award is to procure the following items: 301040 - Aptime Urine Specimen Collection Kit; 50 per box; 300 boxes 301041 - Aptime Unisex Swab Specimen Collection Kit; 50 per box; 250 boxes Items must have a minimum 6 month shelf life upon receipt. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.
