SPECIAL NOTICE – N63285-14-SU-00872 Naval Criminal Investigative Service intends to award a sole source firm fixed priced purchase order to: Innovative Technologies, Inc. 4115 Pleasant Valley Road Suite 800 Chantilly, VA 20151 The requirement is for the maintenance of audiovisual equipment and support services of audiovisual engineers and technicians. The requirement has a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 541330 – ENGINEERING SERVICES and the Small Business Standard is $14.0M, and is in accordance with the following FAR provisions and clauses: 52.202-1 DEFINITIONS 52.204-2 SECURITY REQUIREMENTS 52.204-7 SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT 52.213-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS-SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITIONS (OTHER THAN COMMERCIAL ITEMS) 52.212-5 – CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS – COMMERCIAL ITEMS. 52.217-5 EVALUATION OF OPTIONS 52.217-8 OPTION TO EXTEND SERVICES 52.217-9 OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. For this contract action, the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however all quotations and responses received within three (3) days of issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The proposed acquisition is to procure the services of maintenance of audiovisual equipment and the support services of audiovisual engineers and technicians. Innovative Technologies, Inc. is the only company who installed the original audiovisual equipment, and has since maintained the equipment. The procurement of their services for continuity is in the best interest of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Under this requirement, the result will be a FIRM FIXED PRICE purchase order to Innovative Technologies, Inc. The determination not to compete this requirement will be at the sole discretion of the Government.
