The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) - Vicksburg, MS intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Thomas Telford LTD for the renewal of annual subscriptions. Thomas Telford LTD is the only source that can provide this subscription because they are the sole publisher and provider of electronic access to Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Virtual Library. The Contractor shall provide the following ICE Publishing electronic titles: - ICE Current Engineering Collection - ICE Science Collection This requirement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 519130 with Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document will exist for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price and sufficient documentation to determine capability in providing the same or similar product. All statements received by the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
