AI Contract Overview
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Standard Integrated Security Technologies for the Standard Kokua Service Plan. This requirement supports the Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit Six by providing essential equipment maintenance services to ensure systems remain operable and aligned with manufacturer specifications. The government has determined that IST is the only responsible source capable of providing these services due to their proprietary programming, integration, and authorized OEM certifications, which prevent other vendors from servicing the system without risking failure. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures under NAICS code 541330, with no set-aside restrictions. While the government intends to proceed with IST, interested parties may submit technical data and cost information to demonstrate their capability to provide the same services. Capability statements must be submitted via email to Alicia Maldonado Torres by 12:00 P.M. EST on September 8, 2026.
