Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD awarded a sole-source modification to N00019-17-C-0059 to Raytheon Missile Systems, 1151 E. Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ 85756-9367 for engineering and technical support to conduct a flight test demonstration of an extended range capability for the Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) AGM-154C-1 All Up Round (AUR). This acquisition was pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Raytheon Missile Systems is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the JSOW weapon system and its related equipment and as such is the only company that has the requisite knowledge, technical expertise, production tooling facilities and technical data necessary to meet this requirement.
