NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Solicitation Number: F7VH105176AQ01 This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.106-1(b) (1) and FAR 6.302-1 for other than full and open competition with Optimum Path, Inc. The Kansas Air National Guard, 184 Intelligence Wing, 52955 Jayhawk Drive, McConnell AFB, KS 67221 has a requirement to procure the following items: Visual Data Center Monitoring, Software Licenses and Maintenance Support Containing: 1. VDC - Monitored MEP/Facility Device License 2. VDC - Monitored iPDU Rack License 3. VDC - Monitor Rackmount IT Devices 4. VDC - Annual Maintenance/Support The Air National Guard's Network Operation Security Squadron (ANG NOSS) is requiring this license support for the ANG Datacenter to meet mission requirements. The NOSS customized VDC solution provides real time monitoring of all NOSS IT assets including power and cooling infrastructure. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements, the Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) sole source order/contract to Optimum Path Inc. Optimum Path Inc is the sole supplier of and manufacturer of their software. Therefore, the brand-name of Optimum Path is required to meet the Air National Guard's needs. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the Business Size Standard is $38.5 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals nor will a solicitation package be issued. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time, Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
