This acquisition, valued at an estimated 130,000 dollars, includes equipment such as pump sumps, degassing systems, moving bed biofilters, low-head oxygenators, head tanks, heating and chilling controls, diffuser kits, and control system panels. These components are required to support mission-essential broodstock nutrition and conditioning research within the Research, Education, and Economics mission area. The contract performance will take place at the University of Maine in Orono, Maine. The government has identified Innovesea Systems, Inc. as the only responsible source due to the necessity of compatibility with existing proprietary equipment.
