This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for requirement of  16 Inch and 20 Inch Parachutes, for use at Crane Ammunition Activity. Only one qualified manufacturer, Yoland Corporation, has the material/technical ability to ensure a uniform compatibility and performance to match previous supplied blankets in the same systems. Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. 


This is not a request for offers.  A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
