Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration has a requirement for system repairs and upgrades for the Country Office located in Mazatl�n, Mexico. This service will be provided by DRCTEC S.A. de C.V. considering that the office is located in a Level 4 threat area. All communication regarding this posting shall be in writing and be received by the archive date of this notice effective 06/27/2022 @ 10:00 am EST. The proposed purchase order is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with DRCTEC S.A. de C.V. in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1)(i), conduct sole source acquisitions, as defined in 2.101, (including brand name) under this subpart only if the need to do so is justified in writing and approved at the levels specified in paragraph (a)(2) of this section. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-4 (Feb 2007) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5 (Apr 2008) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
