Full Description

The AIR FORCE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAIAFISRANCE AGENCY (AFISRA), LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE TEXAS intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Sybase, Inc. 6903 Rockledge Dr. Ste 100, Bethesda MD 20817-1132, under the authority of FAR Subpart 8.405-6(c)(2) - " Limiting sources. AFISRA will be acquiring maintenance of the Sybase Software. Sybase software and maintenance is required to maintain compatibility operations and interconnectivity with the MIDB over a production network. Interested parties that feel they can provide the required licenses and maintenance support may respond by submitting their capability statement via email to feliciano.lopez@us.af.mil. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not constitute a solicitation of offers. Written responses to this synopsis must contain detailed documentation sufficient to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no sufficient responses are received, AFISRA will proceed with sole source negotiations. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the email address listed above. Telephone calls regarding this matter will not be accepted, nor will they be returned.
