Notice Of Intent To Sole Source - The Journal of HazMat Transportation

The US Department of Transportation (DOT), Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Acquisition Services Division hereby issue this notice of intent to sole source. PHMSA intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to PRI International, Inc. located at 404 Price Street, West Chester, PA 19382 for the purchase of obtaining full access to the Hazmat Journal Subscriptions and database. PRI International, Inc. is the sole source publisher and provider of The Journal of Hazmat Transportation and as such is the only vendor capable of fulfilling the necessary requirement. Purchasing from these sources will best prepare the HazMat Office within PHMSA to perform their job duties effectively and efficiently resulting in the best opportunity to have current information pertaining to hazardous materials transportaion. The NAICS code is 511120 (PERIODICAL PUBLISHERS). This is not a request for competitive quotes. It is anticipated that an award will be issued to PRI International, Inc., with approximately two (2) days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that any onter organization has the capacity to meet this requirement.
