This synopsis shall serve as the Executive Office of the President (EOP), United States Trade Representative's (USTR) notice of intent to issue a sole source contract to East View Information Services Inc. (UEI#JH8MAJ6RGE39), for ChinaLawInfo with access to Chinese law database to include all judicial cases, court judgments, treaties, foreign and international laws, arbitration awards, interpretations, commentaries. The period of performance is a 12-month base plus four (4), twelve-month option years. This sole source procurement to East View Information Services Inc. is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and FAR subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, including brand name or equal descriptions. When the supplies or services required are available from only one responsible source, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the Government's requirements, full and open competition need not be provided for in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). This notice is valid until April 22, 2023. This is a notice of the intent to award a sole source contract. It is published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals.
