Notice of Intent to Sole Source BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc./AT and T Atlanta, GA Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Jacksonville, FL intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc./AT and T for maintenance and technical support services for all BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc. d/b/a AT and T Southeast (herein after referred to as AT and T) telecommunications cabling infrastructure at Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola Complex, Pensacola, Florida previously referred to as CESL-177. Contract scope includes maintenance support to telecommunications voice and data circuits beyond the established demarcation sites including resolving issues and providing repairs and maintenance services for the base telecommunications cabling infrastructure. Due to AT and T ownership of approximately 95% of the outside cable plant, AT and T is the only source that can provide this maintenance until the Government acquires ownership of the outside cable plant. No other vendor has access to AT and T owned cable plants and therefore cannot provide the required telecommunications services. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this work falls under is 811213- Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $12.0 million. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to meet this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence that clearly articulate the company's ability to satisfy this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within two (2) calendar days after publication of this notice, to demonstrate comparable capability, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
