Notice of Intent to Use Other Than Full and Open Competition

The U.S. Government currently leases approximately 14,468 rentable square feet in Building 19 at Denver West Office Park, Golden, Colorado, and plans to negotiate a superseding lease at the same location. The decision to enter a new lease is driven by economic, mission-related, and other relevant considerations, including the evaluation of all relocation costs should a move be necessary. The government requires that the rental agreement encompass all necessary services, supplies, utilities, and tenant improvements, with detailed information to be provided on the building name, address, rentable square footage available, fully-serviced rental rate, tenant improvement allowance included in the rental rate, and common area factor. Interested parties with alternative locations are invited to submit their proposals by August 18, 2004. The contract is guided by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 531120, which covers nonresidential building rental or leasing, with a size standard of $6 million.
