AI Contract Overview
The Defense Information Systems Agency, through the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, intends to award a sole-source contract to CGTech, identified by CAGE code 1WZ87, for the renewal of maintenance subscriptions and the procurement of additional commercial-off-the-shelf Vericut software licenses for the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast in Jacksonville, Florida. The government has determined that CGTech is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling this requirement due to the proprietary and specialized nature of the Vericut software, justifying the use of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) for other than full and open competition. The contract will support two distinct but overlapping performance periods: one running from August 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027, and the other from August 14, 2026, through April 30, 2027, with no formal solicitation posted to SAM.gov due to the sole-source determination. The action falls under NAICS code 513210 for size determination purposes, and no set-aside provisions apply. Interested parties may submit a written capability statement by June 17, 2026, to the designated point of contact emails, though submissions will not be evaluated as competitive proposals and no reimbursement for preparation costs will be provided. The government retains sole discretion in finalizing the award decision based on any responses received.
