The Department of the Air Force, through its Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hanscom Air Force Base, issued a Notice of Proposed Contract Action (NOCA) for exhibit space at the 2012 USGIF GEOINT Symposium. The contract is intended to secure services from the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), the organizer of the symposium, for displaying a complete Eagle Vision 4 system at the event held in Orlando, Florida. This procurement will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13, citing that USGIF is the only source capable of providing the required display as they control and manage the event. The GEOINT Symposium is described as the nation’s premier intelligence event, featuring keynote speakers, panels with defense and intelligence leaders, extensive exhibits, and networking opportunities within a large exhibit hall. This NOCA does not represent a request for proposal nor does it preclude other responsible sources from submitting bids within seven days of the notice's publication. However, there is no assurance of contract award, and the government will not compensate for any costs incurred in the submission process. The contract includes provisions for an appointed Ombudsman to address concerns or disputes related to the acquisition. Key contacts for questions include the Contracting Officer and the Contract Specialist at Hanscom AFB, with oversight managed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Intelligence Contracting Branch.

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is establishing a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to secure a pool of qualified contractors for the planning and implementation of partnership-building activities. These activities include reverse trade missions, conferences, forums, workshops, and trainings, which may be conducted in person, virtually, or in a hybrid format both within the United States and overseas. The scope of work encompasses a full range of event management services, including project management, venue and vendor coordination, international travel logistics, participant recruitment, and post-event evaluation. The contract has a total ceiling of 100 million dollars, with a twelve-month base ordering period and four twelve-month option periods.
