NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic Systems Contracting Division (AFLCMC/HNCK) hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract as implemented by the Federal Acquisition regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Brand-Name. AFLCM/HNCK intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the purchase of specific DiTom Microwave Isolators. This proposed acquisition will include the following: 40 ea. Isolator, RF, 7-18GHz, 50IMP, 5 W AVG Power; 20 ea. Isolator, RF, 2-6GHz 50IMP, 20W AVG Power required by AFLCMC. Required Delivery is 30 days after contract award. The Government intends to make an award by 15 September 2013. The Brand Name DiTom Microwave is the only known manufacturer that meets the Government's requirement. No technical data/drawings/Technical Orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within seven (7) days of this publication. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. In addition, AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, will be included in this acquisition's solicitation and contract.
