Full Description

This is a notice of Sole Source award to Gerling & Associates for the refurbish and life cycle upgrade for a video broadcasting and editing truck. The estimated award date is 13 JUL 12. Gerling & Associates own the design and specifications of the 2 CTCS (2nd Combat Camera Squadron) TV truck as they fabricated and manufactured the area being refurbished. The cabinets are specifically designed by Gerling & Associates. The work surfaces are all custom made with light-weight materials while maintaining durability. The upgrade includes replacement of the HVAC systems that are exclusively designed for, and only sold to, Gerling & Associates for their mobile applications. The power conditioner system upgrades involve updates to the patented power conditioner system designed by Gerling & Associates. Due to the high cost and complexity of the equipment it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government to award to Gerling & Associates based on these findings. The continued support and performance of these systems are critical to the Combat Camera organization's mission.
