The Womack Army Medical Center intends to enter into sole-source procurement with Helmer, Inc.; Noblesville, Indiana, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This procurement is to 5 ea. double door Helmer pharmacy refrigerators, model iPR256, and 2 ea. single door Helmer laboratory freezers, model iLF125 for the Pharmacy Department. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 339112 and th e business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 12 - Acquisition for Commercial Items and will be made pursuant to the authority in FAR 13 to use simplified procedures for commercial acquisitions.
