The Arizona Air National Guard's 161st ARW is set to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Advantor Systems Corporation for the procurement, delivery, installation, and integration of Intruder Detection System (IDS) and background check equipment into their existing proprietary security network. This contract, governed under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 for non-competitive procurement due to the absence of other qualified sources, aims to ensure seamless interoperability without voiding existing warranties. The scope includes installing badging peripherals such as a duplex badge printer, fingerprint signature pad, and card reader, as well as IDS components including an Infraguard II LAN panel, touchpad, high security switch, ceiling-mounted PIR sensors, and wireless duress buttons with receiver. The contract performance is to take place at the 161 ARW/Goldwater ANG Base in Phoenix, Arizona, with a performance period of 120 days. Advantor holds the warranty on the current installed equipment and is the mandatory source for IDS maintenance per the ANG BPA contract, thus justifying the sole source award. A formal notice was posted on October 15, 2024, with an abbreviated 5-day posting period per FAR guidelines. The contracting action will be a Government Services Administration (GSA) Delivery Order under NAICS code 334290, reflecting the relevant industry classification. All inquiries must be submitted in writing, as telephone requests will not be entertained.
