This sources sought synopsis serves as a notice to exercise Option Year 7 for contract F41608-00-D-0323, managed by the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center at Tinker AFB. The requirement is a long term, sole source contract with General Electric Aircraft Engines locations in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Lynn, Massachusetts. The procurement is justified under Title 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) because the necessary supplies are available from only one limited number of responsible sources. The items involved are designated as either 4D, signifying a unique design capability exclusive to the prime vendor, or 4H, indicating insufficient data to allow for competition. While qualification requirements are not currently applicable, any item will be removed from the contract during the next option exercise if a new source becomes qualified. All inquiries regarding the list of items must be submitted in writing or via fax to the designated contract negotiators.
