The project involves the rehabilitation of a 1.5 million-gallon composite storage tank owned by the City of Southlake, Texas. The scope includes containment, interior and exterior coating applications, and minor repairs, with particular attention to utility coordination due to existing communication antennas that must remain operational during construction, potentially requiring temporary relocation. The process mandates submitting a bid security amounting to 5% of the proposal, along with executed contracts, bonds, and insurance certificates, all adhering to the forms specified in the contract documents. Performance, payment, and maintenance bonds equal to 100% of the contract value are also required. An optional pre-proposal conference will be held on August 26, 2025, to clarify project details, and questions about the project must be submitted by August 29, 2025. The city reserves the right to reject any bids, interpret proposals favorably in case of ambiguity, and maintain a bid validity period of 90 days. The project emphasizes compliance with prevailing wage rates and adherence to all contractual and legal requirements for successful completion.
