The objective of the project is to develop a “technology sector report” that identifies stakeholders, innovations, initiatives, and investments that support the advancement of building enclosure technologies for large residential and commercial buildings. For the purposes of this project, large residential and commercial buildings are defined by Part 3 of the National Building Code of Canada (NBC). This technology sector report should clearly identify current and emerging building enclosure technologies, the state of the enclosure technology and material supply chain in Canada, and recommend next steps to reach Canada’s 2030 and 2050 climate targets
