By means of the RFP, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking proposals from bidders to create a ‘whole of Canada’ picture of flood hazard, by bringing together flood hazard maps, reports and data from different areas of the country, created using different methodologies, and presented using different schemas, into one common, consistent data layer. The objectives of this project are to: 1. Inventory and collect all available flood hazard mapping data in Canada; 2. Prepare collected data to be integrated in National Flood Hazard Data Layer (NFHDL). This project comprises two (2) Tasks for the Contractor to complete and two (2) optional tasks: Task 1 – Data Collection, Task 2 – Data Inventory. Optional Tasks Task 3 – Additional Data Collection, Task 4 – Simplified Data Collection
