NRCS-Utah Cultural Resources Inventory Services, Juab County

NRCS Utah is seeking proposals for an intensive pedestrian cultural resources inventory on approximately 436 acres of private land in Juab County, Utah, in support of a land management project funded under the USDA Farm Bill. This undertaking triggers Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, making NRCS the lead federal agency responsible for ensuring compliance with 36 CFR 800. The contractor must conduct a non-invasive survey to identify and document historic properties within the Area of Potential Effects, using GPS mapping, sketch diagrams, and standardized state archaeological site forms while adhering to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and Guidelines for Archaeology and Historic Preservation.
