The government is inviting surplus dealers, small business distributors, and other entities with existing stock of surplus or newly manufactured items to respond, requiring submission of a completed DLAD 52.211-9000 Surplus Certificate or equivalent traceability documentation to verify the origin and acceptability of the material, alongside the available quantity and price. The approved source for this item is The Boeing Company, with delivery expectations set at 436 days after receipt of order under FOB Origin terms, with inspection and final acceptance occurring at the destination. The acquisition is unrestricted and will be evaluated based on a combination of price, past performance, and other unspecified factors, allowing for potential trade-offs rather than strictly lowest price technically acceptable selection. The contracting office is located in Richmond, Virginia, and inquiries should be directed to Leon Watson, the primary point of contact. No specific packaging, marking, or invoicing protocols are detailed in the available information, but compliance with FAR Part 15 and adherence to the government’s verification requirements for surplus or traceable material are mandatory for qualification. The government retains the flexibility to adjust its acquisition strategy depending on the availability of surplus inventory or newly manufactured alternatives.
