The contract covers the procurement of 257 plain hexagon nuts (NSN/Part Number 5310-00-199-1056) with a delivery timeline of 166 days after order. It falls under the Department of Defense through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), specifically the ASC Commodities Division, with the place of performance at Hill Air Force Base. The solicitation was posted on March 22, 2026, and responses are due by March 30, 2026. The contract is governed by applicable technical and quality requirements outlined in the DLA Master List, which dictate packaging, export controls, marking, and quality standards tailored for manufacturers and non-manufacturers alike. Key stipulations include compliance with handling export-controlled technical data under ITAR and EAR regulations, limiting the sharing of sensitive information to contractors who meet strict certification and training prerequisites. The contract removes the need for item unique identification per customer request and mandates removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies. Packaging must adhere to DLA requirements, and physical identification of bare items is required. The primary point of contact is Deborah Jordan of DLA, ensuring communication and oversight throughout the contract period.
