Solicitation SPE4A6-27-T-6497 is a fixed-price federal procurement issued by the DLA Weapons Support ASC Commodities Division for plain hexagon nuts, identified as commercial items under NSN 5310-00-768-0319. The requirement consists of two line items with total quantities of 364 units, to be delivered FOB Origin to the DLA Distribution Depot in Oklahoma. The delivery period is set at 146 days, with a need ship date of October 6, 2026, and a final required delivery date of June 4, 2027. The contract mandates strict adherence to technical and quality standards, requiring hardware to be manufactured according to the current revision of applicable part standards, specifically citing MS51968C and FF-N-836F(1). Quality assurance is governed by zero-based sampling plans per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, and manufacturers must maintain an inspection system complying with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001. Bare item marking must follow MIL-STD-130N, including the contract number, NAWC CAGE, and part number. Packaging and palletization must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E and DLA requirement RP001. Additional critical constraints include a total prohibition on additive manufacturing for the production of these items and a ban on the intentional addition of mercury or mercury-containing compounds. The offeror must comply with the Berry Amendment and Buy American Act, and all invoicing must be processed through Wide Area WorkFlow. Evaluation and award are subject to various FAR and DFARS clauses, including limitations on subcontracting, combating trafficking in persons, and prohibitions on covered defense telecommunications equipment.
