Solicitation SPE4A7-27-R-X027 is an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) issued by the DLA Weapons Support ASC for the procurement of plain round nuts (NSN 5310-01-348-5776). The contract has a base period of five years with a total dollar value not to exceed $349,999.99 and a guaranteed minimum of 30 units. The estimated annual demand is 120 units. This is not a small business set-aside. Award determination will be based on a comparative assessment of price, past performance via SPRS assessments, and quoted delivery. The procurement includes a rigorous First Article Testing (FAT) process requiring a test report based on three units to be submitted within 30 days after receipt of order, with final production shipment occurring 690 days after receipt of order. Technical data is subject to ITAR and EAR export controls, requiring contractors to have approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification and specific DLA training. Compliance requirements include CMMC Level 2 certification, adherence to the Buy American and Balance of Payments Program, and strict packaging and marking standards per MIL-STD-129 and RP001. Inspection and acceptance generally occur at the origin, though FAT acceptance is at the destination. Invoicing must be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system.
