AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE4A6-27-T-026F is a Request for Quotations issued by the DLA Weapons Support ASC Commodities Division for the procurement of 48 self-locking nuts (HE), identified by NSN 5310-01-630-1868. The contract specifies a delivery period of 104 days after order, with a need ship date of February 1, 2026, and a required delivery date of April 12, 2026. Shipping is designated as FOB Origin, with the final destination for inspection and acceptance being the DLA Distribution DDSP New Cumberland facility in Pennsylvania. Technical compliance requires adherence to MIL-STD-129 for marking and RP001 for palletization, with packaging governed by MIL-STD-2073-1E. Quality assurance is based on zero non-conformances using sampling methods from MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. A critical safety restriction prohibits the intentional use of mercury or mercury-containing compounds in the hardware or packaging. Administratively, the contractor must use the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system for invoicing and must maintain active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). The procurement incorporates various FAR and DFARS clauses, including requirements for NIST SP 800-171 assessment and compliance with the Buy American Act and Berry Amendment.
