This solicitation from the ASC Commodities Division of the Department of Defense is for the procurement of four sheet spring nuts, part number P-1008U, manufactured by Unistrut Corp. The contract requires adherence to specific DLA packaging requirements, the removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies, and strict physical identification and bare item marking. Delivery is required within five days after the order is placed, with the place of performance located at Hill AFB. Quality assurance is governed by rigorous sampling methods, specifically MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, utilizing a zero-based sampling plan. Critical, major, and minor attributes are assigned specific verification levels and AQLs, with any unspecified attributes treated as major. The manufacturer may choose between attribute or variable inspection methods, and while MIL-STD-105/ASQ Z1.4 can be used to determine sample lot size, acceptance is based on zero non-conformances.
