AI Contract Overview
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT), is conducting a series of recurring bi-monthly Industry Office Hours under the initiative titled "Mastery of the Seas." These sessions are designed to facilitate dialogue between government subject matter experts (SMEs) and external industry representatives to share the strategic vision of the Center and explore potential avenues for industry engagement and contribution to NUWC’s mission. The events are scheduled to be held both in-person at NUWC Building 80 Conference Room 208 in Newport, Rhode Island, and virtually via MS Teams, with the inaugural session planned for April 21, 2026, followed by subsequent events on May 5 and May 19, 2026. Participation requires prior registration by the Friday preceding each event, with attendance open at no cost, though respondents are responsible for any costs related to participation. The dissemination of marketing materials during the event is prohibited, and the Government makes no commitments or contractual obligations based on discussions. The announcement does not constitute a formal solicitation or contract request; instead, it is an informational and outreach activity without pricing, deliverables, or binding requirements. There are no associated Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses or contractual terms included, nor any special contract provisions related to security clearances, key personnel, or organizational conflicts of interest. The event encourages questions submitted ahead of time and during the sessions to foster transparent communication. Points of contact are established for registration and inquiries—primarily Maria F. Gregory and Daniel J. Iwanski of NUWC Division Newport. Administrative details such as registration instructions, contact emails, and security office phone numbers are provided. Overall, the event serves as an opportunity for the defense industry to engage with NUWC leadership and subject matter experts, gain insight into future mission directions, and build connections without any current procurement or contractual commitments.
