All items must be packaged and preserved in strict accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E, including specific preservation methods: CLNG/DRY with no preservation material, HB cushioning, and unit containers coded as BV with an outer packaging indicator of M. Intermediate packaging is designated as E5 and the overall packaging code is U. The contract includes mandatory compliance with federal regulations concerning hazardous materials, requiring adherence to the Hazard Communication Standard and submission of hazardous material labeling where applicable, alongside prohibitions on intentional mercury contamination. Cybersecurity and information safeguarding requirements are enforced through DFARS clause 252.204-7012, and contractors must maintain current SAM registrations with updated UEI and CAGE codes. Performance is governed by inspection and acceptance at destination by government personnel, with invoicing exclusively through WAWF using electronic submission methodologies.
